Alessia collaborates with the firm’s Corporate team, primarily providing advisory services in ESG and corporate compliance matters. She has gained experience in national and international business contracts, intellectual and industrial property, and privacy law.

Alessia joined the firm in 2018 within the IP, IT and Privacy (Intellectual Property, Information Technology & Privacy) department, working on numerous compliance projects related to EU Regulation No. 2016/679 on the protection of personal data (GDPR) for the firm’s clients. In 2019, she obtained the IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification.

She progressively gained experience in IT and TMT contracts, providing general assistance to major clients active in the digital and innovation sectors, before focusing on business contracts and out-of-court assistance within the Corporate department.

In recent years, she has developed expertise in emerging areas of law such as Legal Design and ESG, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and Diversity compliance, which have become the main focus of her legal advisory practice, with a specific emphasis on sustainability reporting, corporate governance, gender equality and gender gap, social certifications (such as PdR UNI 125:2022) and equal opportunity requirements for public procurement tenders and for obtaining funds financed through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

Previously, she worked with the contracts division of a well-known Milan-based boutique firm, primarily handling licence agreements, technology transfer, publishing contracts, general terms and conditions and international agreements.

Before graduating, Alessia completed an internship at the Beijing office of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China and subsequently collaborated with the Sino-European project “IP Key – Intellectual Property. A key to sustainable development”, drafting a paper for the European Commission on the protection of Geographical Indications in China.
