LCA Studio Legale is pleased to announce the opening of Marta Spagnoli‘s exhibition «Moltitudini» («Multitudes»), that will be held on Wednesday, 23rd November 2022, from 6 to 9 p.m., at its Milan office in via della Moscova 18.
The practice of the artist, born in 1994, is mainly focused on painting and drawing. The starting point of Marta Spagnoli’s research is the study of the constant reciprocity among human experience, the animal kingdom and the environment that contains them. Thus, the artworks designed to be exhibited in the workspace of LCA, all dated 2022, have the natural world as their key to interpretation. In an unconventional environment such as the Law Firm, the artist brings a metaphorical reflection on the body – human, animal, vegetable – which results in a space and place of confrontation.
The exhibition, organized in partnership with Galleria Continua, ARTE Generali and Apice, is part of LCA’s “Law is Art!” project, launched in 2013 with the aim of promoting contemporary art outside the traditional circuits and enriching the communication among colleagues and clients within the office, intended as a place of innovation, research and open dialogue.
Within these initiatives, LCA has hosted over the years in its Milan office the artwork by Tatiana Trouvé, Letizia Cariello, Chiara Camoni, Botto&Bruno, Franco Guerzoni, Silvia Camporesi, Silvio Wolf, Rä di Martino and Alessandra Spranzi, as well as several projects by important photo collectives and art institutes. Moreover, at Palazzo Borromeo, it has also exhibited the works of Letizia Cariello, Brigitte March Niedermair, Michele Guido, Mattia Bosco, Sabrina Mezzaqui and Francesco Arena. As of this year, with Massimiliano Camellini’s photographic exhibition, the LCA’s office in Genoa has also been added to the exhibition venues.
Now, welcoming the latest artworks of Marta Spagnoli, the Firm has positioned itself as a privileged space where artistic experimentation enters an unusual environment, as well as a reference point for the enhancement of contemporary art in the Milanese and Italian contexts.
For the passion and the enthusiasm for contemporary art of LCA’s professionals, the Firm always combines a deep knowledge of the art system and a recognized expertise on related legal and tax matters, always at the disposal of artists, gallery owners, collectors, artistic, cultural and museum institutions, and other players who, in various ways, operate within the art market.
The exhibition will be open to the public starting from Thursday, November 24th, from Monday to Friday, from 9.30am to 5.30pm, by appointment only writing at lcaarte@lcalex.it.
Special opening with the artist on Saturday 7 October, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on the occasion of the 19th Giornata del Contemporaneo. Free admission with limited capacity on reservation at lcaarte@lcalex.it.
