LCA Law Firm is proud to support the project “Carillon – opera per archi” by Letizia Cariello, a wall installation with sound made using some damaged musical instruments. Through the transformation into an artwork, such instruments acquire a new voice, continue to speak and invite to reflect, as the artist herself writes, “on the concepts of value and responsibility”. The project is the result of a precious collaboration between Letizia Cariello, Galleria Minini of Brescia, AXA Art Italia and LCA Studio Legale and it will follow exhibition itinerary that will involve prestigious artistic and cultural locations, not only in Italy. The artwork will be introduced to the public for the first time Tuesday April 5, 2016 in the exclusive Palazzo Borromeo context, during the week in which Milan hosts MiART, the most important city event for contemporary art.
The initiative is part of the project “LAW IS ART!” promoted by the Law Firm and born from the passion for the contemporary art world of some of its professionals, their personal engagement on the Milanese and Italian scene, their deep knowledge of the art market and their recognized legal expertise in the art law field.
Within this project, launched with the personal exhibition of Tatiana Trouvé, set up in occasion of the assignment of the ACACIA 2014 Prize, LCA has converted one of its meeting rooms in a real artist’s Project Room, that has become – thanks to the exhibition once of Letizia Cariello, then of Chiara Camoni and of Botto e Bruno – a privileged meeting and exchange place in which the passion for art reveals itself in a professional context. Moreover, LCA supports the contemporary artistic research having sponsored, among all other initiatives, the Emergent Prize of MIART, awarded to the best emerging gallery on the contemporary art scene.
