    Gianpiero has been practising for more than 30 years been in the fields of M&A, extraordinary corporate transactions, venture capital and private equity, capital markets, banking and financial law, as well as insolvency and restructuring, being involved in a number of important, complex and innovative transactions, both domestic and cross-border.

    Professional experience

    Gianpiero joined the Firm in January 2024.

    Previously, he gained significant experience practising in some of the most important Italian and international law firms, including as Associate at Chiomenti Studio Legale, and as Senior Associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP , before becoming Partner at Lombardi Molinari e Associati Studio Legale in 2006. In 2015 he founded Durante Studio Legale.

    From 1988 to 2000 he was research and teaching assistant to Prof. Pier Giusto Jaeger, in the Commercial Law Department of the Università degli Studi di Milano.

    He was visiting foreign lawyer at Linklaters, London, in 1993.

    He is author of articles on corporate, banking and finance law, and he gives talks and lectures at conferences and seminars in relation to subject matters concerning his areas of practice.
