LCA advises the selling shareholders of SMB Scala & Mansutti Broker on the sale to Willis Italia

The transaction strengthens Willis Italia's, part of the WTW Group, presence in the mid-market insurance broking segment

Willis Italia, part of the WTW Group and a global leader in risk management consulting and insurance broking, has acquired 100% of SMB Scala & Mansutti Broker, an insurance broker based in Udine specialising in corporate advisory services with an established presence in the mid-market segment across various industrial sectors.

LCA Studio Legale, with a team led by Equity Partner Giangiacomo Rocco di Torrepadula and composed of Managing Associate Claudia Barone, Associate Giovanni Compagnoni and Trainee Rachele Lago, advised the selling shareholders of SMB Scala & Mansutti Broker, Claudia Ravello, Cristina Scarpa and Talita Botto, on all legal aspects of the transaction. The sellers were also supported by the company’s accountant, Mr. Gioacchino Pantoni, on the financial and tax aspects of the deal.

On the transaction, Willis Italia was assisted by Chiomenti for the legal aspects, with a team composed of xxx, and by EY as financial advisor.
