Webster-Renold has acquired Sircatene S.p.A., a company based in Missaglia (LC) and one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of industrial and precision chains for conveyor systems.
The transaction, completed on 30 July 2026, enables Webster-Renold to strengthen its presence in the European market, particularly in Southern Europe, by expanding its offering in the conveyor chain sector and enhancing its manufacturing and service capabilities through Sircatene’s industrial presence in Italy and its subsidiary Fossati Catene S.r.l., as well as its presence in the French market through its subsidiary Chaines Fortià SAS.
The sellers were advised, on legal aspects, by LCA Studio Legale, with a team led by Marina Rosito and composed of Cecilia Frangini and Angelika Mascotti; as financial advisor by KPMG Corporate Finance, with a team led by Alessandro Zanca and composed of Enrico Papini and Gianmarco Boschi; and on tax matters by Studio Commercialisti Associati Galbusera, with Davide Galbusera.
The buyer was advised by Jones Day with a multidisciplinary, cross-border team composed of professionals from its European and US offices. In particular, coordination was led by Stefano Crosio, partner in the Milan office, and Kaitlinn P. Sliter, partner in the Chicago office, with the involvement of, among others, senior associate Leone Momigliano and associates Mario Comunale on Italian corporate law matters, Edoardo Corò on foreign direct investment (FDI) regulatory matters in Italy, Nicolas J. Brice, partner in the Paris office, on FDI regulatory matters in France, as well as Brittany A. DePeder and Kevin M. Samuels, partners in the Cleveland office, in relation to the financing of the transaction.
