As every year, we entrusted our holiday greetings to the talent of an art school – this time, for 2025, to the Orsoline di San Carlo Art High School: a first professional commission for young students, part of the Law is Art! project supporting contemporary art. Below are the two joint winning projects
«Starry Sky» by Alice Delli Ponti and Maddalena Roveda
The animation opens on a city wrapped in night: little by little, the lights in the windows switch on, bringing the urban landscape to life. The sky, empty at first, is gently filled with stars by small hands entering from off-screen, until an unexpected gift appears.
«Close Again» by Matteo Facchi and Alice Giussani
Our project is a short stop-motion film telling a simple, universal story: the wait, the reunion, and the journey that begins anew. In a black-and-white airport setting, a man waits for his suitcase—the only touch of color. The LCA orange symbolizes what each of us carries: affection, homecomings, and new departures. When the suitcase arrives, the man picks it up and walks joyfully toward the exit. A glowing “Happy Holidays” sign lights the way—a discreet and gentle wish. The scene closes with the figure from behind, the suitcase by his side, and the LCA logo sealing the story with elegance and simplicity.
