On 1 January 2027, the new Chinese Trademark Law will enter into force, introducing important changes to the trademark protection system and to the ways in which companies will need to manage and protect their brands in China.

The seminar – organized by LCA Studio Legale and ALLASYA Law & IP – will illustrate the main developments of interest to Italian companies, analyzing their practical implications for trademark owners, applicants, and companies operating in the Chinese market.
Particular attention will be paid to practical strategies and recommendations for adapting trademark portfolios, registrations, enforcement activities, and internal procedures to the new regulatory framework.

The seminar will also provide an overview of the latest trends in intellectual property and law in China, highlighting developments that could have a tangible impact on foreign companies operating in the country.
