On 28 September 2026, one day after the entry into force of Directive (EU) 2024/825 (the Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition Directive), LCA Studio Legale will host a private event for General Counsel and Heads of Legal dedicated to exploring the practical implications of the new regulatory framework for businesses and the market.
The event will provide a unique forum for dialogue between businesses, regulatory authorities, and public institutions on the key obligations introduced by the Directive, with a particular focus on the new rules governing green claims, environmental communications, unfair commercial practices, and enforcement.
The discussion will also draw on the Common Understanding document published by the European Commission on 30 June 2026, which is intended to support the consistent application of the Directive by national enforcement authorities across the European Union.
The discussion will be moderated by journalist Giampaolo Colletti and will feature representatives of the key institutions involved in the implementation of the new regulatory framework. Participants will have the opportunity to gain insights into the emerging interpretative approaches and to engage in a discussion of the main practical challenges businesses are facing in complying with the new rules.
