LCA advised Giocamondo Study, an innovative SME listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market of Borsa Italiana and active in the educational travel sector for young people, on the capital markets aspects of the transaction, on the acquisition of a 51% stake in Destinazione Lingue, an educational tour operator based in Udine specializing in language stays and international educational programs for students, young people, and adults.
The transaction forms part of Giocamondo Study’s external growth strategy and further strengthens the group’s presence in Northern Italy, while expanding its offering in the international student mobility sector. Upon completion of the transaction, founder Barbara Santuz will retain a 49% shareholding in the company and will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer, ensuring management continuity and supporting the continued development of the business.
