Giancarlo deals with the regulation of banking, financial, investment, insurance and reinsurance (including insurance and reinsurance distribution) activities, as well as asset management activities. Provides advice and assistance in favor of all supervised entities operating in the relevant sector in relation to their ordinary and extraordinary operations.
Provides advice regarding the structuring of asset management products, financial instruments and products and other investment solutions and has gained specific expertise also in relation to prudential supervision issues.
Assists clients before the Supervisory Authorities in sanctioning proceedings related to the provision of banking, financial, investment and insurance services and before the competent judicial authorities in the subsequent jurisdictional phase.
He has also developed specific expertise in sports law, providing advice and assistance, both out-of-court and in court, to sports clubs, entities, associations, players’ agents and other entities operating in the sports sector, with specific reference to soccer.
Giancarlo has joined the firm as a Partner since 2023.
He previously worked with leading Italian law firms, including Chiomenti Studio Legale and Gianni & Origoni.
