LCA Studio Legale provided legal assistance in a secondary investment transaction in the capital of WeRoad, the travel community scale-up founded in 2017 by Paolo De Nadai, by a corporate vehicle promoted by UniCredit’s Private Capital platform, dedicated to the Ultra High Net Worth segment.
The vehicle brought together around 100 client families who, through this transaction, invested for the first time in a club deal in a technology company. The vehicle acquired a stake of approximately 10% of WeRoad’s capital from existing shareholders, joining the company’s other main shareholders, including Airbnb and Annapurna, through the holding company H14.
The transaction allows the founders and early investors to monetise a portion of the value generated by the company, while providing economic and strategic stability to support WeRoad’s new phase of expansion and international development.
