Two days ago the agreement for the acquisition of a majority stake of Tatuus Racing S.p.A., world leader in the design, manufacturing and selling of racing cars, by Wise Sgr, a company specialized in the management of private equity closed funds investing in SMEs, has been signed.
Through this important acquisition, Wise aims at continuing the internalization process of Tatuus, strengthening its positioning in the promotional categories. Tatuus produced in the last 15 years more than 1.800 racing cars and has collaborated with the most prestigious brands in the sector. Several Formula1 pilots have competed on cars manufactured by Tatuus. As of this year, the company is also official supplier for the USF 2000 and Pro Madza championships of the circuit Road to Indy in the USA.
LCA Law Firm advised Tatuus in the transaction as legal and fiscal Advisor, with a team composed by Edoardo Calcaterra and Antonio Fiorentino Martino, together with DVR Capital that held the role of financial Advisor.
Wise Sgr has been assisted by the international law firm Simmons & Simmons with a team composed by the partner Andrea Accornero together with Moira Gamba and Nicolangelo Del Rosario and by Spada Partners for accounting and fiscal matters.
