Italy recently implemented a small change in relation to the rules regarding the so-called “Integration Agreement”, according to which a non EU-worker residing in Italy and holding a work/residence permit will be allowed to easily return to and/or remain in Italy after the end of his/her secondment period even if the person has not reached a sufficient level of integration during the first period of stay, as requested by the so-called “Integration Agreement” that the worker must have signed with the competent immigration authorities at the beginning of his stay in Italy.
