The transaction enables the company to reach its target of 300 hectares under cultivation and to support its industrial plan.<\/p>\n<p>The financing was provided by a pool composed of UniCredit, Cr\u00e9dit Agricole Italia, Mediocredito Centrale and BdM Banca. UniCredit acted as agent bank and arranger, with the transaction originated by the bank&#8217;s Team Agribusiness Sicilia. The financing was structured without recourse to public guarantees or subsidised instruments.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the financing, Halaesa completed the acquisition of 210 hectares of agricultural land from multiple sellers, as part of the growth path of the Sicilian benefit corporation.<\/p>\n<p>The funds obtained will be used to implement Halaesa&#8217;s development plan, which envisages the expansion of cultivated land to approximately 300 hectares, the stabilisation of the financial structure and the consolidation of the company&#8217;s positioning in the production and management of tropical fruit.
