NetOn has secured project financing from BNL BNP Paribas aimed at supporting the development of a portfolio of self-consumption photovoltaic plants. The deal concerns a model that is still not widely used on the Italian market, based on supplying companies with renewable energy produced directly at their industrial sites, through on-site PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) contracts.<\/p>\n
The solution allows businesses to access long-term solar energy, reducing their exposure to energy price volatility and supporting their respective decarbonization pathways.<\/p>\n
NetOn is an independent renewable energy producer specializing in developing photovoltaic solutions for industrial self-consumption. The company is backed by Quantum Capital Group, a US fund specializing in the energy sector with over $30 billion in assets under management. The new financing expands NetOn’s capacity to support a growing number of companies in their energy transition journey.<\/p>\n
LCA assisted NetOn on the legal aspects and contractual matters of the transaction, with a team made up of equity partner Davide Valli and associate Giancarlo Aiello.<\/p>\n
Meti Corporate Finance assisted NetOn as exclusive debt advisor, supporting the company in structuring the transaction and securing the financing.<\/p>\n
