LCA Studio Legale has contributed the Italy report to GAR Know-how’s guide on Challenging and Enforcing Arbitration Awards 2026, published by Global Arbitration Review, authored by Gian Paolo Coppola, Claudia Bosco and Carlotta Guzzo.<\/p>\n

The report examines the formal requirements an arbitral award must meet under Italian law, the remedies available to challenge an award, annulment, revocation and third-party opposition and the procedural grounds on which Italian courts may set an award aside. It also covers the recognition and enforcement of domestic and foreign awards under the New York Convention, the exequatur procedure, and the practicalities of attaching a debtor’s assets, including enforcement against foreign states and the sovereign immunity defences they may raise.<\/p>\n
