    Civil and Commercial Mediator, appointed at the Italian Ministry of Justice Register as international expert

    Marco has a considerable experience in the fields of legal tech, legal design, and in the interplay between copyright and entertainment. Beyond his role as Head of Innovation, he provides legal advice in fields which have in common the innovation factor. Among them, sustainability, third party funding, and new technologies.

    He wrote, together with Barbara de Muro, the first Italian book on legal design.

    Professional experience

    Marco is a member of the firm since 2018. Before joining LCA, he worked for a primary Italian firm focusing on copyright law and as solo practitioner advising startups and players of the entertainment industry.
    Marco is also a civil and commercial mediator, appointed by the Italian Minister of Justice as expert in international disputes. He has been nominated as expert assessor for the ICC mediation competition and the IBA VIAC mediation competition.

    Associations, seminars, media and other activities

    Marco collaborates with Harvard Law School since 2017, working as Teaching Fellow for the CopyrightX course. Moreover, since the beginning of his career he managed an intense lecturing activity – on the national and international territory – in the fields of innovations, negotiation and mediation.
    Marco is a member of the European Lawyers Association, the Harvard Alumni Association, the Fulbright Alumni Association, the IAIIL, and the ALMA, for which he has been appointed ambassador. He is also member of the Advisory Board of Harvard Italian Law Association (of which he is a co-founder) and the Bologna Law Review.
    Finally, he is a member of SIAE and a mentor for institutions such as Endeavor, Fintech District, Startup Weekend, Futurely, Mentors4U
